As you know I now have a land tank in the form of a Mercedes W124 250D Saloon. It's fair to say that I do like the old girl. What I don't like are the lack of cupholders and no remote central locking ; even both of my Porsche 944s had this, with an alarm admittedly!
My question to you is this. What would I be looking at in terms of a kit to fit to my W124? I'm not fussed about getting an alarm etc. but simply adding some convience without adversely affecting things.
The W124 has vacuum operated locks so I won't need solenoids ; I can simply hook the CL module up to the vacuum unit and take it off the necessary wires

I ask as kits start from £10. However, it would be nice if the kit was half decent and didn't do things like drain the battery or open and close off random signals!
