It's absolutely nuts, and completely worthy of being part of the Roadkill UK event!

Wow! That seems so wrong, but it also such an inspired choice! Top way to get peoples attention. It's making me wonder if the Jag V6I've got lined up for my Scimitar is the correct choice or would I get more power for less money from a diesel.

Not so sure about the 'less money' part. The OM606 engine can be had in a complete car for about £500. That custom pump and turbo they are using must weigh in at over £3k.

Ooh, perhaps not then. I'll stick with plan B (Plan 'A' was a volvo T5 lump but manual gearboxes are like poor quality wobbly children's play pony stuff). Tuxman is getting silly big power from his Noble so I should be alright with my little effort.

Thought his accent sounded local, very local when I checked it out. Hope I get to see this around.
Edit: Scratch that, because I know I will see this around. Thought the garage looked familiar and after looking at their FB page I actually go past this guys house every day and he ALWAYS has cool stuff in the driveway, so much so I look every time.

It's certainly a controversial choice. While I'd prefer to see a Big Block in it the conversion itself was pretty well done and thought out when I saw it in the flesh. It's also pretty cool in many ways. DPUK is quite a talented bloke and he has even engineered the build to be reversible : probably a wise choice in many ways. Whether it suited Roadkill is very subjective. It did win an award I think for being the most controversial car there; you wonder if it was built for the event as it's a nice bit of publicity for him too in the right crowd. Look at it another way ; the Caddy got a Cummins but their General Mayhem (Charger) still had a Big Block in it, even if it was a wheezy unit out of a motorhome . Reliable? At 750BHP it's debatable. With him at the helm however at least it stands a chance of being so.

Charger always come with a big block. Some one stuck a small block in there. Why not use the diesel then! It’s nkt matching numbers any more.
