Hi
My name is Adam and me and my dad decided about a year ago that we were both fed up in our jobs so we took the plunge and 5 months ago opened up our new business venture DFTR Automotive. My dad having been in the motor trade for 40 years owning his previous business for 28 years and me just been brought up around all manner of old cars and having a desire to keep these old cars on the road where they belong and save as many as we can in the process.
We cater for classic, retro and modern vehicles from simple servicing and repairs to modifications and full/part restorations. I'm writing this thread to just share with you our own project work, interesting stuff that comes through our doors and our adventure as it unfolds. I will leave links below to our website and Facebook and Instagram.

From messing about at weekends in the garage with rotary projects i started an Instagram and Facebook page a few years ago called Don't Fear the rotor. It was from that we got our name for the business but obviously cater for all and anything and the adventure began.
We have comfy seating and plenty of tea and coffee so if your ever passing and fancy talking cars then pop in we don't bite.
We are based in the West Midlands: Unit 11, Central Works, Peartree lane, Corner of blackbrook road, Dudley, DY20QU.
Thanks for looking and now for some pics.
All the rotary stuff are our own projects:
Camper is the wife's and the BMW a car acquired from a family member and once welded and repaired will be sold.
Rolls Royce we replaced inner and outer sills on:
73 bug we are curently restoring and then it will be up for sale, it was full of bad repairs and bodge when we got it:
Customers Sierra xr4x4 we are currently working on. Has been sat for years, replaced inner and outer sills, repaired boot floor and boot lip seal and rear arches and now we are going through it mechanically and electrically to get it roadworthy and MOT'd:
Same guy who owns the sierra wants us to restore his XR2 next:
Another customers GTO we did a small repair to:
Just acquired a Peugeot 205 GTI that needs putting back together and painted:
We also had Ian Seabrooks project bluebird in a while ago fitting new dampers and have a mention in 2 of his you tube videos.
And this Supra that is currently in the for sale section, we saved and have got MOT'd and running:
Sorry for the super long first post but that is all the interesting stuff we have done up to date and hopefully it keeps coming.
Adam
