1990 Rover Mini Studio 2
MOT until 17th October 2018
82,000 miles (approx)
I bought the car and drove it for a few months before taking it off the road to do some work, the car has no rust, apart from a few very small bits of surface rust as shown in the images. Only selling as I had the opportunity to purchase a car I have wanted to own for quite a few years now!
As it has only recently been MOT'd I have not had a chance to do any real mileage in it, so I would expect that it will need some light tinkering. I wanted to get the car roadworthy, then decide on an interior (currently functional, but missing headlining) and sort out any paint issues.
If you look at the main images the car looks great from a distance, up close the paint isn't perfect, it covers the car, it was painted in a shed in colder conditions than I would have liked, but at the time this was the best I could do, I haven't tried to buff up the paint so it may well come up better. Underside has stone chip applied then paint. The rest of the car was primered then painted, the doors have a couple of runs (again something I was planning on tackling at a later date) I have attached some pics of the paint to try and show this. It was painted in cellulose in Speedwell blue so ordering more won't be an issue.
The car does need some fine tuning, timing and fuel mix is slightly out, I will try to take a look at this in the next few days (hopefully today) but it is fine to drive. The fuel gauge does not work, the stereo is not wired in and it doesn't have any headlining.
Looking for £2500 ono
