a little update of parts and bits though still very little use or driving.
So my wheels idealy need a refurb, last night another set came up for sale so i bought those instead because I'm lazy. They were done a few years ago but havent had much use so are in quite good condition. They are black so will probably swap my tyres on to them and just fit them to see what they look like. I can always lick them the grey if i don't like the look on black.
had this waiting at parcel force for a few days and got it picked up today. should help hold the boost for longer now.
more bits ordered for the car i never use................. tony hart or hartmotorsport cam, should compliment the bigger blower nicely. Now i just need a few more bits and to find time to pull the lump and fit it once here.
hmm with the correct pre load settings and more the actuator isnt holding the boost its supposed too.... with a bleed valve it holds well though. 1.4 bar down to 1.3 bar at high revs from what i can see whilst holding on. I wanted to run without a bleed valve tbh. Not sure if the clutch will hold on for too much longer though, I'm not sure whats in there and its definately dealing with a bit more than it was. What is funny is now it holds boost the drive is more linear rather than peaky like a turbo diesel. Can really rev it now without feeling like i need to shift suddenly.
