Pictures below;
I`ll also look at taking a swap or part exchange on this.
I`ve had this as an ongoing project for a couple of years now, and have today come to realise that I really do need the space that it`s sat in, and work commitments mean I`ll probably not even get it finished for April when I wanted to.
So, don`t be put off by the pictures!! Anyone who knows T25's will know that the main issue with these is rust, rust and more rust. I`ve put a hell of a lot of time, effort and money into this up to now, with new panels and fabrication. All rust was cut out with fresh steel welded in place. It was then sanded right back, to get rid of the shocking red paint job that was on before, primed throughout, flat back again and given a coat of Porsche GT3RS green, as you can see. The roof was done black, and then the whole van was lacquered. This was all done 18 months ago, and no issues or reactions. With regards the bodywork, all the really needs to be done is a quick de-nib and machine polish.
As you can see, it`s basically a shell. The engine is a great runner, but will need a new distributor to go again, as I stole this one for another T25 I did and then sold. I have all the glass, including the sunroof, but new window seal will be needed. In fact, I have all the trim bits to put this back together. It`ll come rolling on some steels of some sort. Oh, it`ll need a brak master cylinder, and a steering lock, which I also stole for the other one!
The interior is bare right now. I have a CNC cut interior ready to be built up inside, with 3/4 RnR bed and 3 way fridge. There`s no front seats, as my plan was to fit Porsche Tombstones. I was going the Porsche route with it, and was also going to fit Porsche cup alloys, with Porsche style side decals.
It`s been off the road for about 4 years now, but I drove it 25 miles when I bought it without an issue. Obviously, the breaks etc will need going over.
I`m pretty firm on the price. I know people will baulk at it, but all the hard work has been done on this. It literally needs putting back together, starting and MOTing with your choice of wheels and seats.I know that when complete, this will fetch £7k+ in April.I`d like to say I`ll do it myself and sell it in April if nobody buys it, but reality is, I probably won`t!
I can transport this anywhere on my trailer for the buyer at a reasonable cost....circa £1 per mile one way. It`s in my unit, right at the back as pictures show, so getting decent pictures will be hard at the moment. However, I can get close up pictures of the seams, sills and wheel arches for any serious buyers. Viewings more than welcome.
