1972 K Beetle 1200 (now 1641cc)
A hugely reluctant sale of my Beetle. I have spent a great deal of effort and money on this in the 12 months I have owned it.
MoT: 6th August 2018
Spec highlights:
Yellow with front flame section and rear deck in black
Black vinyl interior with grey carpet, EMPI mats and black headliner
Smoothed dash
Brand new sprint star wheels, front tyres as new, rears have plenty of tread
1641cc engine recently set up on a rolling road print out showing 64.2bhp
Lowered and narrowed at the front
Lowered at the rear
Porsche headlights
Early model front and rear panels
The car is 100% solid I have receipts for the huge amount of welding and mechanical work needed to get this through its MoT. Check the MoT history, it failed on many things, it took 2 months and over £2k to get car sorted to a high standard and once retested only had one advisory for the passenger wing mirror glass!
I cannot fault the car at all, it has been on many short and long journeys and has never let me down, longest trip being 200 miles.
I bought this and spent the money intending on this being a keeper, but I missed the opportunity to buy a dream car of mine before buying this and the opportunity has arisen again.
I think the pictures speak for themselves and feel free to ask questions and to come and view. I keep the car garaged and do not drive in the wet.
