1997 Jaguar XJR6
I bought the XJR6 with my brother in December 2016 just because they are cars we've both admired from a distance for a while. I think the XJR6 was only made from 1994 to 1997 (willing to be corrected) before it was replaced by the supercharged V8 that was plagued by Nikasil issues. The supercharged straight six when new put out 322bhp and 378lb ft of torque, had a 6s 0-60 and a top speed of 155mph.
The plan was to tidy up the wings and just use it, enjoy it and look after it but in January 2017 my brother found out that his three month temporary posting to Malta was becoming permanent and he was due to move straight away. With just me left with the car whilst also having a VR6, LS400, MGB, and P38 it just wasn't used that much. After 10 months of ownership I've put about 4,000 miles on it (1,000 since the MOT in April) and it now sits at 120,923 - it will go up slightly but not massively.
The car was delivered on the 1st May 1997 to Mr JR Woolgrove by Grange Jaguar, Brentford who judging by the history owned the car until the 25th June 1999 and 19,000 miles.
It was then sold by the original supplying dealer to Mr Henderson who paid £31,950 who owned the car for 15 years, with the last invoice in his name being on 26th March 2014 at 102,337 miles.
It was serviced by the original dealer, Grange Jaguar, up until five years old. The full history is detailed below, with supporting invoices for all except the first two services.

The pictures (taken yesterday) do flatter the car, it is by no means a basket case but it isn't a show car.
Issues with the car:
It really needs two new front wings
Slight laquer peel in places
General small dings and marks around the body
Headlining was sagging but has been pinned up by the previous owner
The LCD clock display isn't working
Interior mirror needs replacing, the previous owner out a temporary one over the top and it's been fine
The aerial goes up and down with the radio powering on but it continues to want to put the aerial down about 5s after it has finished
One exhaust trim is in the boot
On the MOT there is an advisory for corrosion under the vehicle. I haven't seen it as my retired parents took the car to be tested, I can't give any further details on it as I haven't seen it on a ramp.
The front leather seats are cracked, driver's has damage to the side
The bonnet paint is quite flat
The V5 is in my brother's name, he's back from Malta for the next two weekends if people want to meet him but otherwise it'll be me meeting anyone that wants to see it. As well as High Wycombe I can take it to work in Reading if needed for viewings during the day.
I'm not it in a rush to sell it, I thought I'd put it on here before it goes on eBay in about ten days time.
