I'm not sure if there has been a thread on this yet... I was reminded of it by this video dropping into my youtube subscriptions inbox... So I found some pictures from the HotCampinas forum and the internet at large... Pretty sure its all the same car, looks like the stripe is a slightly older livery. Love how good these look in drag trim, and how ungodly fast they make them go considering they start with that ancient straight 6. I also love the fact it has the same dials as my humble Rekord

I always forget about looking for cars on facebook, it still seems an alien concept to me. Still, after much scrolling looks like that other engine bay pic is OLD. Oooooof

Such a great shape ... are they effectively Opel Rekord coupes? Are parts interchangeable?

Curseword. I want one of these too now, not in full crazy bullocks Drag trim however, I enjoy corners too much.

Such a great shape ... are they effectively Opel Rekord coupes? Are parts interchangeable? Rekord C / Commodore A but with different front and rear end treatment. I would imagine they have more in common with the Commodore, but I don't know what parts are the same. The engines most definitely arent, being Chevy derived I believe en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_OpalaThe 6 was carried over into the Carlton variant that they sold over there, which is impressive considering how ancient it is.
