Not sure if this or anything similar has been covered already, we have no drive or garage options at my house so it is get inventive or quit time, a few weeks back i finally received my mechanical qualifications after a major college curse word up that took me four years to complete my apprenticeship.
Slightly long winded intro but i like to paint a detailed picture, obviously with doing an apprenticeship on the spanners i had to invest in a box and tools so i got stuck in with gusto, bought myself a lot of decent kit instead of cheap tat because i figured i was in for the long haul, now to the reason i am forced to make a big or possibly little decision, i got my papers from college and was a happy chappy until that is i went back to work the following week where my boss told me he can no longer afford me so he layed me off.
I now have a full size tool box stood in the dining room and no access to the back of the house with a car, so my choices are sell up and forget it as i don't work in a garage and don't plan on doing so again or build a shed based workshop outback with limited space to work on my bikes.
I need ideas and suggestions for a cool and practical workshop layout so i can make a semi educated decision, if i do crack on with something i will keep a thread going to post up peoples ideas as and when i try to implement them, have seen a few cool ideas for alternative sheds and building one from pallets seems cool.
Feeling a bit sorry for myself so i need motivation from the RR people
Cheers steve
