The only thing with my 900 that isn't up to scratch for modern motoring are the headlights.
The 9000 was just as bad, but bought brand new reflectors and decent bulbs. Still not what I want but far better
Although the reflective plastic .looks. fine, and is visually reflective, the beam is absolutely pathetic compared to modern cars.
I thought LED h4 bulbs were the way to go, but dangerous to other road users and no more beam pattern. Now Philips have made a bulb but with a tiny reflector on one side of the LED, similar to standard halogen H4 bulbs. there's no difference in the LED used, just the little reflective panel and a load of nonsensical curse word in the write-up that is meaningless, but then when the damn bulbs are on avg 150 quid a set you need that level of 'Jim Bowen' to convince you they are worth it.

They do have good quality LED's but are identical to many other types - They just lack the tiny mirror.
The tiny mirror enables the bulb to be compliant to the beam pattern, and more importantly - don't blind you in the way that some bicycle lights now do!
I'm going to try adding a reflective surface to my h4 LED lights in the hope I can emulate what these Philips bulbs create - as the Chinese have yet to copy this design - I can buy two new reflectors for the same price as a pair of these new style bulbs.
