Thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it! Are you intending to topcoat yourself?
I painted a van with tractor enamel a few years ago which resulted in a decent finish (despite spraying outside!) but lacked the longevity I would like or expect if it were a 2K paint.

For the underside, bay etc. Yes.
I'll be using cellulose as I can spray that with my same setup.
For the exterior. Undecided.
I'll probably epoxy prime the exterior, but I'm still not certain if I'll the top coat. I'm tempted to do in cellulose simply because I can then do any repairs to the paint at home. But if I go to a paint shop they will do a better job of it, and it may be tougher paint finish.
Previous cars I've painted with cellulose have survived well. I just had to leave them a good wile for the paint to fully cure.

I've found a decent quality cellulose over epoxy seems to last well, it's also so easy to touch in damage or dodgy areas of paint, as you say both the epoxy and cellulose need plenty of time to cure though especially this time of year.

Any reason for a black interior? As that is surely going to soak all the heat up in use Or is it purely for lack of glare on the inside of the glass?

Its for the very technical reason of.....
I like black :-)
But also I find black looks ok for quite a while on a rally interior.
My experience is light colour interiors get grimey looking pretty quickly and need a load of maintenance to keep looking fresh.
Black looks black even when a bit dusty.
Heat soak wise I can't see it making a difference. Most heat soak will come from the engine / exhaust.
Maybe it might do a bit more solar absorption but the whole outside will be black anyway and will be the dominant factor.

Today was a busy day, but didnt end up with much vissible. I bought a couple of heaters and put them on raising the temp in the workshop to help cure the paint. It worked, and after about 20 mins it had got uncomfortably warm with my normal overalls and jumper on. Not sure of the exact temp, but I think it was pushing 20deg. I left it all to bake for a few hours. The paint felt noticeably harder to the touch by the end of the day. I then spent the rest of the day seam sealing the underside. I used PU adeheasive / sealant put on with the calk gun and then flattened with a finger. engine bay key seams. P1040511 by jono_misfit, on Flickr P1040513 by jono_misfit, on Flickr I've purposely not sealed the bottom of the inner wings as I want any moisture to run out not get trapped. Inner wings P1040512 by jono_misfit, on Flickr The gaps are where there's weld beads sealing, or at the bottom faces where i've again left open to allow moisture out. Excellent work, really informative as well. Still haven't got my head around all the wiring yet!

Well. Here's hoping i got it right and it all works!
Outside will be satin black, with a level of rally stickering and possibly some subtle gloss black or colour highlights in strategic places.

After a few weeks on other things I was back on the escort today. ] I scuffed back the paint to key it for the top coat. Hmm maybe I need to find a way to bring it into the design of the cars paint. then to prevent overspray making it into the car I used poly sheetig to close all appertures P1040526 by jono_misfit, on Flickr P1040527 by jono_misfit, on Flickr flipped it over to start painting, and closed in a gap where one of the rollcage members passes through a double skin that is left open. I thought I had two cans of white, but it turns out i didnt. This scuppers my plans but I've ordered more, unfortunately it wont get here until at least the 4th. Doh. I may well have to start prep work on some of the other bits, like wings, doors, boot, and interior panels (foot rests, and tank cover). Plus a few other jobs.

good news, all my paint turned up today, and its intact! :-)
Bad news, its -2 degC in the workshop and it's below my enjoyment threshold. Plus it'll be hard to keep it warm enough for the paint.
Its due to warm up from friday onwards a bit, so will look to get some more paint on the car then.

So as per last post, the paint arrived. lots of it P1040534 by jono_misfit, on Flickr I had a tidy round and found a new space for it. Then mixed up some paint and went rount with the spot repair gun getting to all the difficult to reach places. Then flipped the car over and applied a light first coat of paint to the underside, starting off round all the seams and hard to reach places, then a light dust over all the floor. Then gave the floor etc a clean,swapped out the filters on the extractor and on my face mask, then set to putting another couple of coats on. I used the touch up gun first to get to the difficult bits first, then onto the main gun to get some volume onto the rest. But i need the paint to have a fair chance to set first as otherwise i'll just chip it trying to get into them. I banged the heaters on and gave it a hour or so at temp to help set it all off well.
