Another natural rest stop on my way back from Croatia the other day. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, click here. It used to be Boblingen Airport. Now it's home to a few restoration shops, a few high end classic dealers, a few memorabilia dealers, a few restaurants, a brewery, a hotel, the Stuttgart franchise for Bentley, Lamborghini, and The Soulless English Supercar Company, and more than a few glass cases where folk can store their classics. So, to pics:

My old weekend haunt (used to live 15mins walk from it), had many a beer and wurst in the on site micro brewery. Nice to see there's still a fair range of stuff there to have nose around

Simply a wonderful place, and right next to the V8 hotel. Highly recommended, and great pics!

What's the story with that sun bleached Porsche. Looks fantastic like that.

The sun-bleached 912 was a '66 model and was owned by somebody from NASA back in the olden days. It was very well worn but complete apart from the dash top.

Yes that must be the one, they were definitely old train / tram sheds of some sort It was also a treasure trove.

I was there for the second time in April - it was nearly deserted as Techno Classica was on just down the road:
