Datsun 620 crewcab pickup. Unless its a homebrew, but something tells me it isn't. Painfully cool either way. the truck posted was not a 620 but an older truck , either a 520 or possibly 521 look for U520 U521 double cab or double seat. When I saw the first pic I thought it was a photoshop.

Wasn't the Cygnet something to do with getting the average emissions for the vehicle range down to more acceptable figures, to avoid heavy taxation? Then they were part of the Ford family and it didn't matter any more as there were plenty of other vehicles to bring the average down.

But then they could have chosen some compact ford and increase the price with factor five to make it attractive for some rich idiots. But these surely would never place their precious ar$es in some ford product. Just like those common jaguar buyers are willing to do.

Yet another dive into the never ending wormhole of General Motors badge engineering, this time it's the Passport Optima. "Hang on that looks a bit familiar" I hear you say? Well you're right as this one's a Canadian market version of the MK2 Astra/Belmont/Daewoo Nexia, sold through a separate dealership network for cars that didn't fit into other existing domestic ranges. More details can be read here.

That's really cool. I'm sure I've seen a picture of one of those before, waiting at a junction somewhere in '60s London.

Haaa, naaaah. The 1000SP was a triple rather than a twin, and did it not have a sensible oiling system rather than the typical two stroke total loss? Must admit it's been a while since I last poked about one. An old acquaintance had what he reckoned was the only surviving RHD coupe in Europe...
