The last one looks like a pick up with a Lite Ace rear end glued on top. Weird proportions.....

The Quicksilver looks far better (to me at least) than its base car, the fiero.

I think it looks fantastic in a kind of 80s furistic Robocop SUX9000 way. 'Hey Clarence, Joey's got a car just like yours man.' I think it's an Olds Cutlass underneath.

Taken from Robocop Wiki - there is a web page for everything it seems"Although the 6000 SUX is intended as a dig at the Pontiac 6000 ("the 6000 sucks"), it is reminiscent of the real-life Rover SD1 and to an extent the Citroen CX.Two complete, fully operational SUX cars were built with parts for a third one that the proÂduction people blew up in Dallas. From the beginning they wanted a large four-door saloon, one that could be modernized to make it look more futuristic, so for the basic body they chose a '77 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, mainly because it had an interesting door window line. The front section was removable as one piece and had a large air intake at the front and covers the whole front bonnet and headlights. The actual auto bodies themselves were made from fiberglass components. They mocked up the SUX in metal, foam and plastic, and then took fiberglass molds of it and made fiberglass parts. The wing mirrors were also made specially for the car.The rear fiberglass section of the car is unusual in many ways. It has two upper air intakes behind the door at the rear, a large triple exhaust in the center and higher above the ground than usual, and rear brake lights (the left side that is shaped like "IL") that also don't appear to have indicators. The rear window has a windscreen wiper. Much like the front section, it was made of fiberglass molds that lifted up like a hatchback. The engine and interior were left unchanged from the original Oldsmobile."Not entirely sure that I can see the SD1 or CX comparison other than it being a 4-dr fastback silhouette, but it was certainly memorable as it was so ugly!

VW Golf Stub-back, looks like a Jetta hatchback. I can find nothing about it other than this pic that appeared on Twitter the other day. Either it's called something else or its sooooo rare not even the Worthersee event has been graced by one Guessing the conversion wasn't a popular one!! Good old Zender catalogue

That might be a one-off Zender creation.

Isn't it a kitted out derby? nope it appears to be a golf hatch with an addition to the rear. As pointed out it could well be a one off Zender special

And to stay with my recent wagon fetish.... People love those Saturn wagons but man do they rust under the plastic body work

No idea, but suspect a one off, or short series?

Since I have started frequenting here more often again, and have figured out the mobile browser, I’ll put on some cars I remember finding out about a while ago. I’ve not added anything on this thread much, but someone else may have done. Apologies if I do duplicate! For me, I’m still surprised, and forget Peugeot made the hottest GTi back in the 90s. A 309 GTi16. Using the 1.9 Mi16 lump in LHD only form, Peugeot gave it’s already great hot hatch 160BHP. With engine swaps and Tollman now entering the scene, it’s interesting to see Peugeot pipped them all to the post with this now forgotten GTi. Forgotten, or overshadowed by the more svelte Goodwood edition over here? I yearned for one for a long time, but the prices of these in France was always significantly high, even 8 years ago. Time hasn’t helped there, but then, can you put a price on the original real deal?
