hello
Ive read there are plenty of cheap parts to do up a Peugeot 205.I was also thinking of a VW polo breadvan.Does anyone have any more recommendation's please? Many thanks Si

Hi and welcome,
it depends on what sort of mods you're thinking of? Some body parts are almost impossible to find for some models, whereas for others its mechanical parts. As a general rule, the more common the car, the better the parts supply. I tend to stick to Fords and Land Rovers, the aftermarket parts are plentiful, if not always cheap. Don't forget that your insurance may decide to clobber you for a modded car.

If it's your first car, and you're 17, I wouldn't go mad, your insurance will be bad enough without declaring modifications as well. If not, an early Corsa B would also be on my list.
