Good evening
I'm in need of a rear wheel bearing for my van .
It's a 1996 Nissan caravan gt cruise 2.7 td also known as a homy , Urvan ,E24 .
It's a J import and I'm finding it impossible to locate one everyone I try can't find it on there system and the Nissan dealers computers are being upgraded and they can't get into there import data .
Anyone can help ??
I'm sure Nissan must have shared this part with another model

Have you got a part number? If so, take that to a bearing supplier ("bearing man" etc.) and they will probably be able to get one for you.

According to my SKF Bearing Catalogue:
Nissan Urvan E24 02/87 - 10/92 Front wheel bearing kit: VKBA1955, rear: VKBA3206.
The catalogue doesn't list any other years for it, unfortunately. The cross-reference says:
VKBA1955: Nissan Cabstar, Urvan
VKBA3206: Nissan King Cab, Pathfinder, Terrano, Urvan
Obviously you need to check stuff before paying out money, this is just how I read it.

Another SKF site suggests that a rear wheel bearing for Urvan might be GRW190. It lists two Urvan years, "08-00" and "11-10" but doesn't say what those numbers mean. Description: Tapered Roller Bearing, double row Inside Diameter: 1.654 Outside Diameter: 3.150 Width: 1.496 Only other vehicle it lists for that is Infiniti QX4, and Nissan Pathfinder. The Timken cross-reference for GRW190 comes up with 516005. Rock Auto list that at around £30 for just the bearing: www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1118420&jsn=8 - I think a Google search for Timken 516005 throws up an Amazon listing as well as some others. Obviously again you need to check stuff before paying out money, this is just how I read it. |

Did snap a screw in the wheel cylinder so ordered one from the same Nissan king cab the bearing was from and yep doesn't fit lol
So after some drilling rethreding got the old one on and happy days
