It would be a Corrado for me. I have always liked them but could never afford one so i had a Scirocco instead.

its the same as that but the colour is about the same as the festa behind. AFAIK he's had it from new, driven daily, new let him down. when i say neighbour, i mean he lives across the road from my house, i'm living at the wife's house, which is the other side of Nottingham. i'll try to see him this weekend if you want to know more. ImpJimbo-ditto...and ditto, but the 'rocco was only the price of 6 months bloody road tax so it'd have to do

corrado - nice but bits cost an arm and a leg (even with contacts at vw) Surely the Corrado would cost no more to run/repair than the Prelude or 200SX - especially with companies like German & Swedish & French etc. My Honda is certainly not cheap to get parts for

My sister had a mitsubishi galant V6... nearly bankrupt'd her! (she's got a V40 Volvo now!) A mate of mine has had a couple of 200SX's.... and they've both been tuned up relatively cheaply, and go like rocket ships! It's possible to get a 911 for <£10k nowadays too......

How about a Lexus Soarer? go for the V8 aparently it's a good engine and a lot easier to work on than the twin turbo V6. What sort of price range is he looking at? O.k it's not retro but I do like big coupes like these and Skylines etc
