Due to my recent purchase of a 318iS Blue, my E30, is up for sale.
It's a 1988 325i in Cirrus Blue with Indigo leather. I've owned Blue for four years and over that time carried out extensive work replacing both rear arches and recently had a new OEM NSF wing. It's covered approximately 125k and has a huge history file. I bought the car from a French interior designer who'd treated it like part of the family, it was a very well cared for car. She'd bought it from the original owner and had owned the car for around 20 years.
It's incredibly original, even has its dealer fit Blaupunkt tape player. It's been my toy, I have an E93 daily and a van so it's covered about 1-2k a year in my ownership. It flies through MOTS, drives superb and has been super reliable.
It's currently on its original BMW bottletop alloys which have been recently refurbished in a custom diamond cut. It also has three 15" BMW BBS rims (fourth one cracked) and loads of spares.
Interior is in excellent condition, hard to find a blue dash with no cracks these days. The leather has always been fed so is soft and supple but with a fantastic patina, bit of wear on the drivers bolster but nothing too drastic. I've replaced all four speakers with replacement OEM units and the Blaupunkt tape player is fully working.
The bad bits.
Odo not working. Previous owner fitted new clocks showing 63k and that's where it still is.
Fan motor a bit temperamental, but there's a complete replacement system in the box of spares.
Slightly warped brake disc on the front but only noticeable under heavy braking.
Overall it's a very original, very presentable car that's been a pleasure to own. Please no swaps, selling as I only have one garage and two cars.
Thanks for looking,
Ade.
