	I'm wanting to run a hard fuel line underneath the car but I'll need to go back to flexible lines at either end - Currently I've just double feather the jubilee clips on to get it running but... I'd like to have proper connections that will drop the rubbers and can be tightened properly without worry of leaking under pressure. I know flaring us the minimum but has anyone else done this and have any pics? I'll make some brakeline style brackets either end to hold the hard line and but that depends on how this goes. Also to play devils advocate should I run a durable flexi line front to rear? It's for my mk1 cortina the tank is standard but has a facet pump next to it and I'll be mounting a fuel pressure regulator under the bonnet

	From my ramblings I'll try and illustrate what I'm wanting to do; On a bracket like this; I'm assuming flared end but maybe an olive?? Because I'm trying to avoid loose fuel lines and leaks under pressure that I've had

	To be fair jubilee clips will be fine for the pressure that you will be running ; it's a carbed car right? To combat leaks I'd do the following: -Put some beading on the end of the hose : Find someone who can do it. If not, even using a screwdriver to flare the ends will help. -Get some decent and correctly sized jubilee clips. But yes, one option is to run flexible lines front to rear.

	I've never had a problem with doubled up jubilee clips on hard line without a flare, even done that on my SX which runs in excess of 2.5 bar fuel pressure.

	Hi, What I've done is solder or crimp* an olive on the pipe then push the hose over it and you can then use a single jubilee or 'O' clip. If you use plastic lines you can get ferrules that go inside to give the olive something to crimp against. *(Use a nut, olive and fitting tighten it up, undo it remove fitting and then split the nut to remove it, leaving just the olive). 	Solder a jic union onto the copper or use a fitting with olive as pictured
