Originally built and SVA'd in 2003. This car has been my project since I bought it in 2005. I have continuously developed it, first sorting the chassis and brakes, before converting from a carb. to fuel injection and then adding the supercharger. Along the way it has also had a new dashboard with refurbished classic Smiths gauges, Cobra seats and a interior re-trim.
The fuel injection gives driveability that carbs never can. Put it in 5th, let it idle and it will trundle along at 25-30 mph all day, but plant the throttle and it will smoothly accelerate off into instant ban land without changing gear.
Make no mistake, although it can be driven inconspicuously, you can't resist giving it the beans and hearing the supercharger scream.
Unfortunately as it has got faster, I've got slower! So its time let it go so I can get something more restrained that I can persuade the Mrs to get into. If you've got a TVR Chimaera I might be interested.
If the buyer has a windows laptop I'll set the tuning software (Tuner Studio) and the datalog viewer (MegalogViewer) up on it. Great to see what you have been up to if you do a sprint or a trackday.
I've file full of tech details receipts etc.
I'll take you for a blast, but won't be letting anyone else drive it - too risky! Cash only thanks.
