Hullo, My 1983 MK2 polo breadvan "iggy" is suffering from some idling and backfiring issues.
firstly it wont idle from a cold start (it used to) and even when warm it doesnt properly idle and
srtruggles. secondly when the engine is warm and I'm going at pace I close the choke (witch is manual )
and about 30 seconds later i get what i think is backfiring from the exaust. Some advice on what
seems to be a famously tempromental car would be greatly apreciated.
