Another pictorial from me, covering yesterdays JDM event at Castle Combe. It's one of my favourite circuits, as its quite close to me and offers good vantage points. The turn out of cars was typically recent, with lots of well finished but mostly younger cars but with a handful of unusual and retro material. Here's a selection of my shots.
Rotary Mazdas
This is a Mazda RX7 with a retro RX3 front end kit.
This was my pick of the show, as I have thing for the obscure. The owner bought it for scrap value quite a few years ago, off a pensioner. He's modified the car, by installing a Vauxhall red top and Escort Mexico diff. The car was literally just finished for the show.
Almost all the drift cars were Nissans - either Skylines or Silvia's.
Lots of non imported curio's too.
Gold and black works well for this R33 Skyline
The Datsun and early Nissan guys doing their bit to expose the brand
A few more shots of the day can be seen here. Thanks for looking!
