2000 MX-5 1.6
80k
12 Months MOT
Full respray last year from standard red to gloss black (V5 changed to suit)
Had been off the road a while, then a friend of ours bought it (he knew the sellers), had it resprayed by us and fully recommissioned it as there was no history with it. So new brakes all round, very full and thorough service including cambelt and water pump, new wheels and tyres, stripped the interior out completely, had the carpet professionally cleaned, had the original seats retrimmed in finest quality leather by a classic Jaguar specialist to the patten they use on the E-Types etc (these are not included in the sale, I have some tidy standard cloth seats to put in, but shows the level of expenditure and quality he went to. They may be available by separate negotiation, but I have another MX-5 I plan to put them in) at a cost of £800. A new Burgundy mohair roof and new roof cables and frame refurbishment at a cost of £670. New 17" alloys and tyres at a cost of £630. New clear lighting, new genuine mats, MOMO steering wheel etc etc. In the last 500 miles it's had approximately £1000 spent on having a new steering rack and clutch fitted. Drives lovely and is a real mint car. Lightly modified, mechanically standard.
Absolute baragin at £1400. Drive it away, it will get you anywhere. Price is firm.
