We had a nice family day trip out to Prescott for La Vie en Bleu last Sunday. Not been to the event before and they've combined it with some Italian flavour too so all kinds of interesting things dotted around and running up the hill.
This Bedelia was one of my favourite vehicles of the day. Not sure I'd seen one in the metal before.
Have a happy memory (and photographic proof!) of briefly cruising (in our Herald estate) alongside this rather significant Ferrari up towards Buckingham Palace on Christmas Day morning some years ago and exchanging pleasantries with the owner when side by side at the lights.
Stormtrooper spec Countach
Panhards.
Hotchkisses
Potentially angry looking 'Sud
The demonstration runs of new Chiron and various Veyrons was the selling point to Ickle_Seth who has some fascination with them ever since seeng a film at the Schlumpf collection.
Jota was the loudest thing there on the demo runs, with its megaphone exhausts. Happened to be stood in the right place on our way in to the Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago as this was driven in.
Some two wheeler silliness.
Back round some of the static cars during the lunch break.
I was quite pleased with myself for knowing what this was.
Spent spome time up on the hill on the straight after Pardon hairpin to watch the whole entry list fly by.
This 7 special was beautifully engineered.
One of several Imps running.
This MGB was proper meaty - 4.6 V8.
Old Bugattis obvs.
This had 3 stud wheels, giving away its French underpinnings.
Alpines always awesome.
Those moderns came up again.
But being followed by something much more my taste!
The Morgans finished off the hill entry so before the next round got underway we headed back down to see some of the other bits of paddeck we'd not been to yet.
I was over the moon to find a Voisin hiding in a tent!
And more of the Bugattis obviously.
To round it off, a Rochdale in the car park.
