Hey guys.. Been a while since I've been on RR. Or had an RR! :/
Back in the game with a lovely 240GL and in need of some bodywork. There was a body shop on here I saw a while back but I can't find it.. Tried searching but I can't remember the name.
They were based up north somewhere near Manchester from memory, they flooded and lost a fair bit but stayed in business.
If someone can point me in the right direction it would be awesome!!

Firefly speed shop I think it was, bit silly not being insured given the expense of the cars they worked on.

Fire Fly Speed Shop. Have always been helpful.
I think, don't quote me here, but their insurance didn't cover them for flood damage, due to not being in an area that was at risk and therefore there was no payout. No idea what the score was but yeah. FireFly Soeed Shop.
Prices seem fair if you're after a quote.

Definitely sounds like firefly speed shop.
Yeah from what I remember from their thread they were insured but it wasn't a flood risk area so their insurance didn't cover that. They are back up and running now, I am new to the area and went to meet him the other week, seems like a sound guy. It's amazing they're back in business if you view the photos of the damage caused, life changer!

Thanks for all the input guys. It's hard finding a decent body shop these days that actually chop out metal and not just bodge rust. Will give firefly a shout soon, probably head up there for a quote. If anyone can recommend any decent shops in the Derbyshire area that would be awesome too  |
