I got a car into my garage. Weeks of trying to sell stuff and because it may be useful one day to somebody, forcing myself to bin it and now I can fit a MX5 (nothing bigger!) into my garage for the first time in years! Feel free to add your "First time todays".

Stripped the bottom bracket of my mk3 Chopper I've had since new (pretty release I was desperate for one and bought off Raleigh at 13 ) been ridden very hard for 13 years. Went well, new bearings and grease, then stripped the chocolate wheel nut so couldn't even go for a celebratory ride lol. And yes I know not a real chopper, had plenty of those too

Is the nice trolley jack colour coded to the mx5? Didn't plan it, but now you mention it, yes!

Sorry totally un car related...but today I watched my beloved palace survive the drop in dramatic style First time I've been to a relegation final week done emphatically indeed! Hope you had a grand day out ☺ and as a result today was the First time my start of season relegation picks were correct 😀 shame i don't gamble! Make my post here more RR, (& indeed a bit more West Ham!) have a cool bike 😉 I also like the trolley jack! Mad how narrow a modern garage is though. Where i live now, houses are about ten years old, and on lots of the houses if you get a garage the drive is then only able to fit a smart! Cool thread btw ☺

For the first time today I discovered how much easier it is to drill through metal whilst trickling water through a hose over the drill bit.

I am always losing 'bits' and waste so much time finding them again. This is the first time I have invented something useful. There are useless magnetic storage areas on the impact driver, and a nearly useless bit holder which conveniently is in the exact place to get knocked out on the floor. Just purchased a tiny bosch bit set, and had an idea - Grabbed some araldite and now I have my very own interchangable bit storage with battery combo!
