Right Lads and Lasses, different one for you.
My son has bought an adapter plate off Ebay, which was sold to us as a Rover V8 to type 9 ford box adapter.
First thing we notice is that its got a Ford stamp and numbers on it. Numbers read 78HM - 6A373 - AA, then the Ford oval, and below that 33 - 68 - 36
140 mile round trip, and Rover V8 it is not. Type 9 it may be, but its dark now and I'm not crashing around in the shed trying to find the Bellhousing we've got spare tonight, will look tomorrow.
Pics don't seen to want to upload ATM, will try again later, but its made from about 6mm steel plate.
Ideas anyone?
Tia
