I went daft with the wire wheel underneath chasing bits of rust and removing the melted remains of underseal from seam welding the floor. I wire wheeled them, treated with vactan then used window sealant to cover the areas

Looking like a smart build, do you still have the Ignis seats? If so would you sell them?

I didn’t realise you had a thread for your alto on here. mine is sold on now but enjoyed it so much while I had it. Didn’t skip a bit.

I wanted to buy it from you but noticed you were dead against it being driven away I wasn’t dead against it - it wouldn’t physically move! You could have pulled the hub and removed the offending stud if you’d let me know I’d have thought it was too far for you to come down and have that hassle though.

Shame you sold it though they are surprisingly good fun.

Got some more bits cleaned up, vactan'd and have painted some I did a bit of chemistry with all the rusty nuts and bolts. Would be a shame to put them back on the car like that Bought some vinegar and citric acid. Not surprisingly, buying that much vinegar at 8am gets you some strange looks..... Then this is it after only 10 mins and this is it after about 24 hours. Its still bubbling away after around 40 hours!

You might have noticed the engine mounts were missing their rubber parts. i am going to pour my own polyurethane mounts. The stock mounts were unbelievably soft!
