Well, I never wanted to do this, but realistically I have to. I've got no storage for it, I've done 150 odd miles in it since the last MOT....
So, 1985 205 GTI, she's been mine since November 2001. She was converted to Mi16 power in 2003. Runs great, pulls well. MOT to October 2017.
Car was partially rebuilt in 2010, when it had new sills (last pair sourced from Peugeot in France!), boot floor and rear beam rebuild. In addition it had all new front suspension and new exhaust. Very, very good condition underneath.
In October last year the car had a new head gasket, cambelt etc, and passenger wing, amongst other items.
All work carried out by Miles at Pug Racing.
The interior was replaced with limited edition phase 2 half leathers around 16 years ago. The dashboard was also swapped.
The car is in tidy presentable condition, but not immaculate. However, I'd say it's a much better bet than some of the tarted up examples up for loads online (so many collapsed rear beams!).
Car would benefit from some cosmetic work, a good detailing along with very minor mechanical jobs.
I've got literally stacks of history with the car from my ownership.
