While out on a job yesterday evening I drove past something that just oozed COOL!! One of these.. Identical in colour, on a K plate and with a slight rake, it was boggo stock down to its wheel trims and standard paint that wore its decades well. It was just perfect! While its not the usual thing you see parked up on a main road in Norfolk ( Shipdham if anybody knows the car ) there is an utterly shagged looking but running and used Austin A35 In Melton Constable and a Riley 1.5 that has looked on its last legs for the last 10 years in Litcham Norfolk. Now, for me, restoration, let alone modifying them would be criminal, they are utterly natural, beautiful and seriously cool cars that you could turn up to a meet in and feel a bit, erm, 'stylish' So, any other stuff out there that ticks the cool box without being hit with sticks, 22inch rims and graffiti paint? I may get a pic of my Firebird up, its got faded paint on the bonnet and the roof needs painting, well the whole car does, but its still massively cool.....

Does this count as modified? It was a racer in period and now is just this guys car, it is the coolest (unmodified) car I've ever seen Le Mans Classic 2016 by Retro Rides, on Flickr

All large Citroens are cool straight off the lot. CX, SM, XM, C6 etc - the lot of them. Now, a churlish person might point out that these are lowered as standard anyway so there's no need to "hit it with the stick" but the point is still valid. My evidence borrowed from flickr:- Citroen CX Super by Cristian Olguin, on Flickr See, cooler than an eskimo's fridge.

[No, its not modified, its massively brilliant!! Even those steels couldnt be bettered with alloys. Those are alloys Ha!! Really? Well I never!! They look like normal steels that you would find on a whole load of base model stuff from the 70s and 80s. Now theres an idea...

Those are alloys Ha!! Really? Well I never!! They look like normal steels that you would find on a whole load of base model stuff from the 70s and 80s. Now theres an idea... 60's TZ Cromodora's about £145 + tax a pop for a replica - and you will probably find that the steels were copies of the alloys to keep costs down on base models and still have the appearance of the higher end cars.
