So what's going rate for scrap battery's ? Have about 20 here various sizes tbh I'm just glad to see back of But have a guy wants to buy em and curious Cheers

Phone your nearest yard and see what they're paying. I have a feeling that the last time I asked they were paying 70p-£1 per kilo for lead which is what I'm guessing it will be bought as.

best bet is to find your local sims metal or similar and ask them. I did find this website which seems to give a reasonable average. www.letsrecycle.com/prices/metals/seems to be £600 a ton for batteries, so say for an average 15 kg battery thats £9

Unfortunately my attempt at being helpful has been far from that! I've got a stash in the shed I've been saving and I'd been working on 70p a kilo basis, so it seems I'm a bit over on my guesstimating.

Got about £26 for three average sized car batteries about a month ago. Was pretty happy as I was expecting £15 tops
