. Photophuckit......... Useless service it seems. 150 photos deleted, by their service it seems, though they say I did....... WTF ?? Certainly was not me. I am really pee'd off, as I tried to contact them, but cannot get any link to work. What do I do now?? This is what 6 pages of photo links look like now

I hate to say this, but i reckon what you need to do now is find another host for your photographs. I have no first hand knowledge of photobucket, but i don't know anyone who has a good word for their photo hosting. My feeling is that @automatik will be along soon to share his opinions of photo-phucket!

Do you have much space left on your account. If its full they might have deleted some to free up space (just a thought)

Hi! I can feel your anger, happened to me when Imagshack went down... After that, I bought my own webspace, payed for - mine. This also gave me the opportunity to have my own personal e-mailadresses (a lot of them), make a blog etc. etc. For uploading I simply use wordpress, which also runs my little blog-thingy. And as long as I pay my hoster - everything stays online, I have full controll over it (and the hoster runs backup servers). It's a little less convenient, it's not free - but in my opinion it's a lot better. And if I fcuk up something, at least it's my own fault and I have the luxury of being responsible all by myself Cheers, Jan

Do you have much space left on your account. If its full they might have deleted some to free up space (just a thought) Been a paying subscriber for years. $24.00 per year. Which is why I post so many photos. I have only used 33% of my space, and it grows all the time. Seems they must have moved stuff. What gets me is that you cannot contact them.

I use www.pbase.com awesome site, costs me $23 per year & apart from a catastrophic crash around 8 years ago has been 100% solid. Easy to link to & multi level access control & protection.

I either use flickr (pro account, unlimited and cheaper than photobucket, I think) for my better images,or my own webspace also not that expensive. Or just drag and drop directly into here for images that are more for information*.
I always, always, keep a copy though (which are on a mirrored disc, and if I can work it out OneDrive via office 365 subscription).
* As this uses imageshack I'm guessing you could use the link on other forums if you want to share across multiple ones.

To answer my own comment, yes you can, if you drag and drop an image and look at the BBCode you'll see something like [img style="max-width:100%;" src="http://i.imgur.com/Ynu6tbK.jpg"] you can use that link http://i.imgur.com/Ynu6tbK.jpg else where.
