Bought in Nov 16 for £275, 43k and spent little on it apart from battery and wheel balancing. Just passed its MOT but only just on emissions so if anyone has a cat for it let me know.
Fun to drive and in daily use. Finally fitted a cheap stereo in it today with new speakers in post.

Keep an eye on MCM they are doing a Daihatsu Mira at the moment which is essentially the same car.

Perodua Nippa! Are we really at a point where these things are cool? Can't wait to see where you go with this little beauty, let's see some more photos... Bring it on! I can't see it ever being cool really! I just wanted something basic - which this is, no electric anything, no abs etc - without paying big Mini money and to use/play with. To say it's got a tiny engine it drives well on motorways and doesn't hold anyone up but i guess as the cat is breaking up there is no restriction on it.

You say that you can't ever see it being cool, but to be fair to you, it's already cool because you've had the vision to take on a car, and stamp your own stamp on it to make it your own. Already you're standing out from the crowd because you've chosen something different. Ok, so it may never be a speed machine out on the motorway or whatever, but for just blezzing around town, or B-road blasting I reckon it could be a hoot! As I said before, I can't wait to see what you do to this little thing, and let's see some more photos!

42bhp... Camera flash makes it go faster! To be honest it feels faster because it's so small and low to the ground. it's quite happy zipping about.

that's looking fair tidy for a twenty year old. Cheers, I was pleasently surprised on the overall condition when i bought. It got its 1st patch of rust over winter. On one of the sills, unsurprisingly the one that faces the road where it's parked overnight.

It's cool, and everything has potential-that's the RR Modus Operandi.
I drove one for a couple of years on and off, loved the really long gear throw and hilarious handling on skinny tyres. Actually felt pretty nippy up to about 40mph.
The MCM boys dynoed one and I think it made 28 of its stated horsepower...putting it in line with a 1300cc beetle :-)

Handling is great. My friend used to scream and say it was going to roll over. Get a pair of Corsa B front coilovers. They fit will the bottom bracket modifying slightly - you just need to cut a little bit out, and extend one of the top mounting bolt holes by about 1mm.

I have spoke to the owner on autoshite forum recently after I posted some pictures of ours on there. He was after some bits so hopefully the fact it's MOT'd means he has got it all fixed.
