I too see the passing resemblance but I'm risking getting lynched here but I think these are much better looking than a mk1 golf Haha, believe it or not, I am actually a very nut but couldn't pass this up! For me personally, it's a perfect car because, it looks like a MK1 golf, which I love and it's mechanically similar to a fiat Uno which I love, so it's win win! Haha

Well Zastava used to to made Yugo Uno, which was Fiat Uno but with Zastava badge (same as Punto mk2/Zastava 10). Same car - different badge. Those were equiped with 0.9cc OHV engine which was also fitted in Yugo 45, but as carbureted edition. So, Uno and Yugo share more than you think, actually.

My Yugo definitely needs some love now!

So... Yesterday me and the ol'man got the Yugo running after putting in some fresh fuel and having a tinker. It's very rough to say the least! Needs an exhaust which is sat waiting in my eBay basket, along with some brake lines and some new front shocks! Here's a video I uploaded to YouTube of it running... Also, it's having to live outside whilst dad builds his Suzuki GS 1000, so he kindly bought me a car cover! Cheers for looking guys!

Hi guys! Bit of a thread revival... So yesterday me and the ol'man got all new standard shocks and springs all round to the Yugo! All that's left is the arrival and fitting of the centre pipe, a good fluids flush and general check round theeeen MOT, HERE WE COME! No pics I'm afraid!

My ex wife had a Yugo for a while, it was a 1.3, a 65AGLX, it went quite well, but on the whole it rusted very quickly. That'd look great on my ATS classics!
