Ive been googling but thought id ask here as there is a good broad knowledge base here.
Right. I'm looking for:
A rwd rear axle with drums brakes capeable of about 150bhp max.
Has to be easy to get hold of here and off the shelf brake parts, bearings etc.
Option to take 16" steels.
Approx 57" wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.
Lsd would be nice.
Stud pattern not important.
Cheap.
Any help appreciated with what vehicle it may come from.

If it's going into the truck in your avatar, how about a Mazda B2500 axle? Apparently they're based on the Ford 8.8" axle, so plenty tuff. The stock ratio is 3.7:1, but if they are 8.8"-based then alternatives are readily available.

Dolomite Axle? All of those have drums on the rear, Sprint one can apparently handle 200ish HP so you should be good on that front. May be a bit narrow for you at at about 53" though... apparently the TR7 axle (which is pretty similar) is a couple of inches wider than that, so may be about right for you.

Ldv pilot, but might be a bit wide. Taxi steels will fit the pcd and are sixteens. Also toyota lucida, us ford pattern, and cheap as chips
Can check both of those widths over the weekend if i remember

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman
