Since my friend refuse to sell me his Rover from this thread link and I needed a 80s simple honda to work on, sold my mx5 and as soon i've seen the ad bought that . Cost me what will be weight scrap metal. Hatch, floor, wings, arches, door rotten , plus was hit by hail storm, so rest in poor condition. No clutch, battery, insurance, mot etc etc, didn't gave up as always wanted a 3G Civic or "The TV" as we called it here.

Like you see, very gangsta-no money job done, but thats all I can do and afford for now.
Paint is a single stage cuz I am not confident nor have the condition to spray 2 stage with clear coat.
Its all hobby for me.
Some non split fake BBS, fit the look and were priced as scrape aluminium
Engine bottom end was disasemble , inspection and measure it that proved me its been rebuild recently.
The head was shot dead, replace it with the one from MPI 1.5 and additional low pressure electrical fuel pump was added
After so many years friends Rover from the other thread here is still in 'work in progress' mode
Paint was added to the wheels as well as used 165/50/15s Toyo semi (just for the look and rubbing issues)
Hole car was wet sanded and polished for numberless stages.
And back to be street legal.
The initial idea of having complete interior was dropped. Interior was gutted again and prepared for some color.
Chopped suspension resulting awful ride and feel, it will be rolling project to figure out what to do.
Need a wrecked first gen CRX donor for the injected engine as the stock carburetor is gutless. Don't have the knowledge for anything than swap an engine from MPI one. As the car is 800kg anything arround 100-125hp will be enough for me now.
