My niece has a prom in June, and my sister asked if I knew anyone with something "cool" that could drive them to the prom. Everyone I know with more traditional low riders or rods (of the trad variety also) are based a fair way from Surrey where the prom thing is. So I figured I'd abuse my power and post on here and see if anyone can help. Or has other suggestions for something awesome/ridiculous to turn up to a prom in Surrey in  |

Try going onto lowrider forums or speak to unitybones on here. I'm thinking the coes customs boys are down that way also and float around on the forum.

I have the same issue with my daughter who leaves school this year. Suggested dressing my car up Disney style. Lei's, grass skirts and inflatable Palm trees are cheap!  She's not impressed by the idea, she wants a Limo. |

Thanks for the replies so far. rodit I think the Coes Customs guys are over in Essex so a bit of a trek, although that white Thunderbird they look after is amazing. mylittletony yeah there must be someone out there that can help, I live a bit too far away now days to pop into a local meet and see if I can find a friendly face or two :/ |

Thanks HoTWire glad you like the Tbird , yep we are in Essex and the Bird is still in a million and one pieces at the moment ,which isn't good as ive been asked to do two proms and two weddings this summer ....no pressure then Haha, whoever gets you for those events is going to have some awesome looking photos (assuming it is all in one piece). Would love to get you and some of the other Coes Customs cars to The Gathering, but I understand it is a bit of a trek for you to come for the day  Looking forward to the car being back together. |

If you go to Wheels Day on. Good Friday you will see many of the Surrey Street Rodders as they organise it. They are mostly local to Guildford as they meet in Shamley IIRC.
