	Hi guys, I've spoken to my insurance company today about insuring my Eunos. It was insured with them before (Brentacre) but this time round they've said that I need to have, minimum, a thatcham two system fitted. I've had nothing but problems with aftermarket alarms in the past. Be it they were installed incorrectly or were cheap and nasty system, I don't know. So I'd like to hear any positive or negative experiences you lovely people have had 😊 Thanks in advance guys.

	How old is the Eunos, as they were fitted as standard from 1994. If its before that, this one looks canny, but you'd have to get it installed by an approved installer to keep the insurers happy www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-cobra-8510_p-23419.htm#

	I had this with an insurance company, I insured the same car for a few years and then one year they wanted it to be fitted with an alarm. They wouldn't tell me what spec I needed so I suggested I tie bells to the door handles, this would provide an audible alarm as they had asked but they said it wouldn't be good enough, they still wouldn't give me the spec of alarm I would need. I went elsewhere in the end.

	You don't always have to get them fitted professionally. If you fit it yourself you can usually have it checked by a professional and signed off for insurance purposes. That's what I did with a CAT2 one which came in my Audi 80.
