NOW SOLD, SOLD, SOLD I have owned this car for nearly three years, i love it to bits and i am only selling due to buying another project.
It has 47000 miles from new, and runs a 6 cylinder 3.2 litre flathead motor hooked up to a 3 speed auto box, totally original and a real smooth ride. I have fitted electric wipers in place of the useless vacuum ones that were curse word even when new, and fitted a manual choke instead of the "climatic" one, which was again useless from new! It has the "clam shell" tailgate and the rear seat folds down and you can sleep in it if you wanted.
There is a useful chrome rack for more luggage or a surfboard. The car was undersealed from new in the states and has no rot what so ever, and the interior is almost like new. It roles on a set of Rocket "Strike" American custom rims and drives like dream I have been to the Hot Rod Supernats twice, Whitby Kustom show and various shows up and down the country and never let me down.
I also have loads of history such as original advertising posters, bill of sale for extras, photos, and even a factory workshop manual.
The car is registered Historic therefore is road tax exempt. The next m.o.t is due in May and it should sail through as it has in the past with no advisories.
