Pretty much bang on what I was making at 8psi , my gearing is too low for the engine but I just ignore first gear and being open top I don't mind cruising at 70 but a tin top might be more frustrating . What's the torque curve like with a big single turbo ? Yeah my gearing is to low the diff on the Volvo is 3.9:1 so it's running 3000 rpm at 60mph ideally I'd like it to be running 70mph at that rpm not to many options available on the 240 axle but I'm going to try and marry the gearing from a 940 Volvo into the 240 diff that should help now I've sorted the fuelling problem il probably go back to the rolling road and up the boost my only concern is how much more torque the clutch can take ive added a photo of the rolling road print out the top one is the torque It pulls well from nothing and just pulls harder when the boost comes in very smooth

I've just swapped to a sprung 5 paddle metallic puck plate after the full friction plate started slipping at 12 lb which isn't very nice to drive but certainly does the job . Stock cams are very tame as the there's huge gains between 8 and 12 lb but running at 14lb only added 40-50 hp on mine and being stock I didn't want to push my luck . Your still working off wastegate spring pressure then having a little midrange spike ?

Yeah the wastegate has a 7psi spring and a bleed valve (not used yet) if I'm honest I'm really happy with the current performance its just at that point where it's driveable reliable and fun like you say the next level starts to become a compromise but there's something inside of me that feels Ive been cheated with 360 I'd like to just round that off at 400😊

The original Clutch kit I used was a stock 240mm v6 Camry exedy unit which did well to hold 460lb ft but it's only got 830kg to move although it held it on the Dyno without slipping . This is my first biggish power v8 and having so much power on tap you don't really need to try very hard . I did a fairly long datalog from a 6mile drive on a fairly quick B road and never really got over 5lb of boost

Not much of an update but I think I've sorted the misfire that's been bugging me for ages I've changed plugs coils and crank sensor It was a bit of both but the main problem was the crank sensor £140 from Lexus I did buy one off eBay for £20 but not surprisingly it didn't cure the problem it made it worse that's why I thought it mite be that
On the next build I won't be using Lexus components "to experience"

At Retro show at santapod today Way to hot for me but a good turnout My plan was to take loads of photos and post them up On here but this was the only one I took I guess I'm biased And I can confirm the misfire is fixed
