So, to break the last of my car resolutions, I have to sell my Land Rover. Basically not enough space and a neighbour complaining about my daily being parked on the road (along with his three!) means it's got to go. I like where we live and don't want the hassle.
There is a thread for the car here:

So, it's a 1981 Land Rover 109. This is an ex-military vehicle that was retired to the Isle of Wight where it underwent a sympathetic running renovation.
Since purchasing last year I have done the following work:
Service
New door bottoms
New door locks
New hinges
New seals
New floor mats
New tailgate
New tailgate hinges
New aluminium headlight surrounds
New military bonnet catches
New rocker gasket
New thermostat
New master cylinder
New slave cylinder
Repainted wheel
New wheels nuts
New hi-lift jack fitted in rear
New deluxe seat backs
New deluxe seat bases
New fume curtain (inner cab curtain)
The Land Rover had a brand new hood in 2015 and a new rear cross member in 2016. MOT until October (no advisories on last one).
The vehicle is brush painted in Nato Green as is in keeping with it's original roots. When the new door bottoms and tailgate were fitted I painted them Rail Red to mirror the old bomb disposal trucks.
The Land Rover runs fantastically and starts on the button every single time. Because she is a military model she has twin underseat tanks. She is also fitted with two inwards facing rear seats, so can carry seven with all the gear you could possibly ever need.
Bad bits - petrol gauge doesn't...and temp gauge doesn't work (goes straight to the red even though temp is perfect). Absolutely no running issues at all.
There is a full stainless exhaust to come with the car.
This is my personal car - and I drive her regularly. She hasn't been sat rotting away and then given a quick spruce up. She does have marks and dinks and dents all over the place - it's an old Land Rover. I get that the doors being orange might put some people off, but they are brand new and won't take much to repaint.
She also comes with:
2 brand new wing outers
2 brand new front wing panels
Newly galvanised windscreen frame
Pair of door bottoms that were on it when I got it
Radio mast
Various little bits and spares
2/3 tin Rail Red paint
Full tin Land Rover Atlantic Green paint (I was going to paint her in the summer)
Will take a motorcycle in p/x. Prefer Harley or BMW GS, but let me know what you have and we might be able to do a deal.
Happy to chat through any questions. Drop me a pm and I'll send you my number.
Cheers
Nik
