*** I'm rubbish with technology and don't know how to add pictures from my phone, loads available though if you send me your details
1990 Landrover Defefender 90 CSW.
Galvanised chassis
The bulkhead is solid
MOT'd until 23/12/17
It's got a GMC 6.2 diesel V8 engine, the same as in the Hummers
2 cloth seats and a cubby box in the front and 4 cloth fold up seats in the back.
Alpine lights and tilt sunroof.
5x BFG mud tyres, barely worn and on silver modulars.
Tubular side steps
Adjustable ball/pin tow bar with electrics
Toad Thatcham class 2 immobiliser.
The GMC engine was fitted by Samurai in 1999.
Samurai specialise in these engine conversions so it doesn't look like it's just been thrown in.
It has the correct radiator fitted and has Kenlowe twin electric fans.
It's starts after 3 seconds on the glow plugs.
This car was built up on a galvy chassis after being a cat C in 2003. Again, a proper job was done and I have an engineers report to show this for insurance purposes.
I've owned it a year but the time has come to sell her as I wrote my daily car off last Monday so I'd like a more sensible car.
In the time I've owned it I've replaced:
Fuel lift pump and pump push rod - GMC parts are available 'off the shelf' in the UK.
Yuassa heavy duty battery
Glow plug relay
Alpine light seal
Front side lights and indicators
Rear indicators and stop/tail lights
Wiper motor, spindle, an arm and the blades
Washer pump
Radiator/oil cooler
Brake calliper and front pads
Panhard rod bush
A couple of brake pipes
Custom made twin exhausts with a silencer - fitted 22/12/16 at a cost of £437
Full service including all belts and the gearbox, transfer box and both axle fluids changed.
Bad points:
The front door bottoms could do with repairing.
Rear tub cappings could do with replacing
£7500ono
Located in Hull/Blackpool (I split my time between the two)
