I'm looking for some door pockets that have speaker mounts. They need to fix to a flat panel and be a maximum of about 21" long. Black preferably.
I also need a swivel seat base so I can make our vans front passenger seat rotate. Needs to be as thin as possible, but I can cut and weld so might be able to work with most.
I'm in Chesterfield, near ish would be a bonus.

I've got the swivelling driver's seat from a Mk 2 Renault Espace that's waiting to go for scrap. You can have it on me and I'm in Chesterfield too. Sorry, just the one seat as the other went with my other Espace that's already gone for scrap. Am around all this week except for Tuesday. PM me for location if it's any use. Mick

Guz, been looking at pics and I think they might be too small. Could ideally do with getting bigger speakers in them than the metros 4". Unless they are different to the ones ive seen, I'm not sure what different pockets metros have had.

they only take a tiny one, 3" ? dunno if you could cut a mk1 golf one flat at the back and still have room for a 6" x 4"

Yeah, maybe. Vw ones tend to be pricey though. Can buy mew made mini ones but also spendy.
Trying to weigh up the cost of buying new (£80-£90!) Versus the grief of making my own. Cant find anything that is just right.
Ill keep looking buy diy is looking more and more likely.

This is the grasstrack KG we raced in the 70's I mentioned yesterday. 1600 Ford crossflow and later on Lotus twin cam on original Vw box via Hewland adaptor plate.
