1984 AE86 Toyota Levin GT Apex 2 door - Project
Welcome to my for sale ad for my AE86 Levin which is being sold as a project car. All details and information has been listed below which hopefully, will answer all of your questions but I am more than happy to answer things where I can.
Please see spec below for complete overview of the car (including pictures).
• Imported into the UK 2013 with the V5 form currently in my name.
• 131,000 km (81,000 miles)
• UK registered on a B registration.
• MOT until Oct 2017.
Engine:
• Uprated over axle exhaust/back box
• Techno Toy Tuning straight through de-cat pipe.
• Uprated power steering ‘Billion’ stainless steel tank.
• TRD radiator cap with standard AE86 radiator.
• Recent new battery.
• Power steering pump and hard lines included (with P/S rack and knuckles)
• NOTE: Engine/gearbox/loom/ECU/prop shaft/exhaust manifold have all been removed and not included in the sale (some other things also like hose/ brackets/mounts and misc. bolts may also be missing that are associated with the removal of these components).
• Fuel filler neck to fuel tank and the release mechanism for the fuel flap are removed.
Suspension/brakes:
• AE86 short stroke coil over conversion with uprated internal dampers.
• Espelir front coil over springs.
• Cusco camber adjustable top plates.
• Techno Toy Tuning negative roll centre adjusters
• Uprated rear shock absorbers.
• Uprated rear lowering springs.
• Uprated adjustable pillow ball mounted panard rod.
• Poly Bushed front ARB mounts
• Poly bushed castor control arms
• Uprated front ARB drop links
• Uprated grooved brake discs front and rear.
• Uprated brake pads front and rear
• Aftermarket braided brake lines - rear only (fronts damaged).
Differential:
• Aftermarket 2 way LSD (suspect TRD – very aggressive).
• 4.1 CWP.
Exterior styling:
• 15x8 Rota Grid bronze alloys - front pair.
• The rear wheels are NOT included with this sale – will roll on steels wheels rear.
• Alpha Style vented front wings.
• FRP Run Free front bumper - repro (recently painted).
• FRP bonnet with lockable bonnet pins.
• Custom FRP rear arches (very nice fit to original lines and style).
• Kouki late spec Levin headlights.
• Fog lights.
• HID headlight conversion kit.
• Kouki late spec Levin sidelights.
• Brand new Kouki late spec front bumper indicators.
• Kouki late spec Trueno 2 door redline tail lights.

Interior:
• Kevlar fixed back bucket seat.
• Driftworks Super Low Adjustable diver sidemount Seat Rail for AE86.
• TRS Green four point harness (driverside / pass side std seatbelt).
• Original 2 door GT Apex front passenger seat.
• Matching original 2 door GT Apex door cards.
• Nardi steering wheel with AE boss kit (also tilt adjustable column).
• Drift release handbrake button.
• Black dash and front dash area plastics (see images)
• Rest of interior stripped (see images).
Observations:
The car is solid in all the right places and the general body work is very nice (looks to of had a respray as some point in its life) and polishes up very well with only the boot lid letting it down as there are a few marks in the paint and the original holes for the boot spoiler (now removed) are still present. There are a few small marks here and there on the paintwork but nothing that distracts from the overall look of the car. The car is however over 32 years old and to me, holds up very well considering the age!
As with all older cars, there are some areas that could be improved with some TLC. The lower part of the rear arches (near rear sill) has some rust where side skirts have been previously fitted in the past and rust has appeared, along with the passenger side door frame and a tiny bit appearing about the size of a 5 pence piece on the driver side.
There are also previous repairs to the lower corners of the rear window frame (common area on the 2 door for rust) which while ok now, I wanted to mention. All are non-structural and all very simple cosmetic repairs that could be easily undertaken. Lastly, the jacking points are crushed on the sills – again, common on cars like this. Most of all the above could be repaired then hidden by side skirts.

Car is located in the North West (Cheshire – WA6 postcode) and the car will obviously need to be trailered away (I may be able to deliver the car if not a huge distance away, which can be arranged if a sale agreed).
