What are the Trade Stands? Id be interested in an Autojumble pitch if there is such a thing and space left of course!

I know you say "modern" stuff isnt welcome (rightly so), but can it be used to tow something from the camping ground to a stand, and then chuck it in the general parking area?

I would have thought it could go back to the campsite after it's towing duties are done - not like there won't be lots of space in there  |

We don't really do auto jumble pitches asuch, however drop us a mail to gathering@retro-rides.org if you've got a bunch of stuff to sell then we can pop you in the trade area quite happily, that goes for anyone that has more than a modest boot full of stuff to sell (like if you'd require a table or a full tarp on the floor  ). |

I found a car that would do it except for the no MOT etc etc but if I could afford to buy it then I could just sort out what I have here... still looking like I'll be in the Disco.
Anyway, the important bit is getting there and enjoying the weekend.

MonzaPhil I have a similar problem. now lookinhg into 3 different options : find & fix the problem on my retro daily (possibly just needs an oil change & tappets, possibly something else) find - buy - make roadworthy - tax - "something else Retro" buy *anything* legal that will get me there (& hopefully back) Decisions, decisions...

Discovery 1.5 is loaded up. I've got a great history of road trips in Land Rovers.

Looks like the headgasket issue has been resolved:
Superglued lockwire onto the not man-enough (11.5:1 compression) copper fire rings and used some very expensive gloop from America to ensure the seal.
So far so good.
