BMW E39 520i Automatic for sale. Finished in a beautiful and rare metallic navy blue. One previous owner from new and has been looked after very well. Good Bits - Excellent and smooth runner with no mechanical faults. Very comfortable and luxurious driving experience. - Steering, brakes, suspension very responsive and all in good condition. - Long MOT until 26/12/2017. - Completely solid car. (2 very small spots of rust on top of the sills at front doors, rest of the car is immaculate) - Unmolested and original example. - All electronics working. Bad Bits - High mileage; 175k. (these motors have reputation of running on forever with good maintenance) - Rear passenger side window not working. - A couple age related marks but still very presentable. Would have loved to keep this car for myself however it's too expensive for a young driver like me to insure. Priced to sell at £750 or nearest offer. Would swap for reliable classic/modern classic. What have you got? Text me on 07756379603.

UPDATE: I have full matching leather seats and door cards(in immaculate condition with no rips) in grey to go into the car. Final price is £680 no offers. A lot of motor for the money. If no one wants it, I will use it myself whilst restoring my w123 280CE coupe.

Hello Matt,
Thank you for the offer pal. Would have liked to help you out but only reason I'm selling this one is to create space!
Thanks, Shyam

Thanks Matt.
Mylittletony; I believe it is single vanos but you can confirm when I upload pics of bay. I will upload pics of interior and engine in a little while, watch this space.
The car is provisionally sold, I have someone who says they will be collecting tomorrow. However I've had a number of people say the same thing previously and never show up so consider it still on sale!
Thanks

Rob, it is indeed.
Just last weekend, I did a 100 mile trip and averaged 33mpg; no problems surfaced at all! In fact, the car drove far smoother than the brand new VW Tiguan I had as company car. Quiet incredible for a car that's done 175k!

I'm running one of these ATM on 200k, can't beat them for value for money, comfy, silent and capable of 35mpg on a run, shouldn't hang around at this price.

Thanks for the comments fellas, I swapped it for a Audi 80 Cabriolet in the end. I still have full grey leather interior and pre facelift m5 lights if anyone is interested. Going dead cheap.
