Nice seeing a northern yoke getting saved I'm fairly sure a neighbor of mine here in Donegal has one for breaking if you are looking for anything.

Love an 80. I have a B4 so may be a bit biased. 😉 Great buy though, especially at that price 👍

So the summer has passed and I didn't get as much done as I thought, gave it a service done the rocker cover gasket and have it running ok. Managed to lock the key inside, but poped the lock with a clothes hanger, but disconnected rod to the outside door handle in the process. Also before I put in it the shed there was a storm and my passanger side wing got damaged with flying debris. On the plus side iv raided eBay got all the suspension parts bushes arms drop links and shocks for a refresh. Dropping it with a mechanic during the week to do the work in his spare time cause I don't have any, then a full respray currently looking for a lad to do this then I'll tackle the interior and refurb the alloys and hopefully she will be ready for the road, sadly my dad passed 6 weeks ago and never got to see it, so hopefully when it's done it will be a great reminder of him.

A great reminder indeed! Sorry to hear of your dad, and, don't worry, he'll see.
