Guys, what I'm asking is whether anyone would be prepared to do a simple lathe job for me ? I'm trying to fix my motorcycle, but the part I need to fit into my steering stem tube, is too large. The adapter I have needs turning down, in diameter, to fit up inside it. The fat portion needs turning down to 15mm diameter, & to a depth of 15mm too. If anyone could help, it'd be appreciated. Obviously I'm happy to pay for this assistance.

Thanks BT. I tried to include pics with the original post, but for some reason they wouldn't attach. I'll try again, but otherwise I'll p.m you. Thanks again. Ah, looks like it's worked this time.

Paddock stand adapter to fit underside of bottom yolk?

If it can be fixed with a hammer, then it must be an electrical fault

Paddock stand adapter to fit underside of bottom yolk? Exactly that Wilk. I bought a second hand front stand, with a bag of adapters, but the size for mine isn't included. It's a Micron stand, & ive just investigated & found that they (Micron) went out of business a few years back. Another search brings up 15mm adapters - but for another brand stand. I may have to email these people to see if it would fit my stand. But all that will wait, to see whether BT ( from above) will be able to help me first.
