I've decided to put up for sale my rotary engine and conversion kit to drop in a beetle etc. i bought this off the VZI forum about 2 years as a possible option from my narrow body covin 911 project. But in all honesty, the current engine is doing good and i'll probably be selling the covin later this year.
I understand the engine came out of a karrman ghia with was going back to standard setup.
i'll sort out some photos, but the kit is a complete dressed 13b n/a lump (good compression as sold (and have regularly turned it over) with adaptor plate, exhaust manifold, and exhaust system, massive oil cooller with fan, remote oil filter, plus other bits and bobs....i'll need to dig the boxes out and list it all properly. i bought it minus the inlet manifold and weber 48 carb. Apparently the engine is near race spec so 140-150bhp. my plan was to fab an inlet manifold to fit a twin su hif44 set up just to be different (can include the twin carbs if required).
Just want to get my money back so £550 all in. Collection from warwick.
